More people die while walking on the road than flying in the air. Does a thought of accident while enjoying your morning walk take away the joy of walking for a while. Does thought of a meteorite striking the earth while we are celebrating Holi or Diwali takes away the joy of celebrations. I would say no. Such thoughts of mishaps are negative thoughts. One must never entertain such thought. May be those suffering from acrophobia (fear of height) might be getting such thoughts. I have traveled by air many time but I never had such fear. In fact I enjoy journey by air.

Total number of flight ex Delhi are around 300 per day , the number of accidents or casualties are very low. In the pressured cabin one can not realize the height and speed of an aircraft . In today's world air travel is much safer than most of the other available alternatives of mode of transportation.Much less people have lost their lives ob board or because of any mishap. So do not think that anyone who travels by air ever think about this(though exceptions may be there).

Never give it a thought.
Accidents can happen even at home or just while crossing the road in your neighbourhood.
and what has to happen will happen dost.
So the only thought and fervent prayer I keep in mind is to reach my destination and on time.
What worries me more is the hassle of procuring a cab at the airport, in case there is no pickup car.
Cabs at the airport have a tendency to fleece harried passengers specially when it gets late in the evening.

I am pretty much practical and realistic about such things.
Am never too anxious over issues not predictable.
What is to happen,will happen,
why toil with the thoughts and lose out on moments special?
