He had in fact specifically said that he was going to blow the Indian batsmen away. The very first over by Shoaib Akhtar ended the anticipation with 18 runs coming off it. The over included the shot that was heard around the world a massive six square off the wicket by Tendulkar. You know, you needed to have watched the match live to understand the significance of that one shot. Shoaib Akhtar was taken out of the attack after that one over.
