Bharat...even as we was brain washed by his Mother and had the throne and kingdom of Ayodhya gifted to him ...his sense of respect and dedication to his brother and the people of the kingdom...his sense of discrimination between right and wrong...his purpose in doing what he believed was right...undaunted in his resolution.....he served the throne and did not usurp it as his own...ultimately giving his elder brother the rightful place and position which was his due !

Bharath. he ad all the power in his hand without doing any thing by the grace of Kaikayi. but he did not misuse it. he kept the PAADUKAAS of Lord Rama on Sinhasan for 14 years and worshiped them as if Lord Ram was ruling. it was a great example of sacrifice, dedication and love towards elder brother.
