if u r an young executive with an investable surplus of say

around 25000, better invest in mutual funds ( diversified

funds like hsbc equity, dspml top 100 and sundaram select focus

- these r the best performing funds as of now as per

a recent report in hindu businessline paper - which is known for

its credibility and reputation) through systematic investment plan

- not all the monies in one fund ; divide equally ur surplus

in all the three mentioned above- with a tenure of 12 months.

ur investments will carry a decent return of not less than

18 per cent i.e. the growth rate of the index in the recent past

years. may be little lower or higher. risks r spread

and a decent income anticipated, god willing.
