How come Nayi Sadak is in Old Delhi whereas Purana Qila is in New Delhi ?

Adward Road.. Darya Ganj.. Sadar Bazar,,, area are called OLD DELHI... really.,.
and with the related nearer area.. connought place is called in NEW DELHI..
