its one of the top ten beautiful places in the world. natural backwaters, coconut lagoon, rice plantations,ayurvedic treatment, spa's , snake boats, house boats etc .
just fly to cochin and tie up well in advance thru kerala tourism board for reservations. it really difficult to get reservations in hotels, resorts in kumarakom, so plan well in advance and enjoy the beauty. nearest railhead is allapuzha on the cochin -trivandrum rail line and nearsest airport is nedumbaserry intl airport - cochin
