Love is the most unpredictable and amazing an just can't fathom ,predict and know its depth,its reasons and its logics(if any at all). It just comes by,one fine day and suffuses our being with such glowing a warmth,absolute a surrender,passionate a euphoria and complete a submission. And Love blossoms. The 'someone' who was hard to come by,becomes 'everything' all on a sudden.
And here lies the beauty of your second query...the feeling experienced is so divine,exquisite and gets beyond the mundane expectations of reciprocation,acknowledgement and acceptance. If reciprocation comes by,the besuty gets enhanced,but then,the one in love gets above and beyond any 'gile','shikwe'.'shikaayat','ranj', changes its dimensions,so does ones motivations,priorities and outlook.
No wonder,all the poets and song writers have called it a 'blinding love'...where resides love,and no other.

Yes a way partially this is certain situations we feel..that someone may ..have some inclinations towards..liking and may be very affectionate..and whom one is a true affectionate ..lovable person may not be there...
I think of a song from khamoshi where there is a song Humne dekhi hai un ankho mai...
.....rishte ko koyi naam na do....
may be somewhere some one may have all these ..sort of a bond which is very delicate...but may go
unnoticed...or just fade away...
