Being a Time Traveller I have seen Shahjahan had more than 365 unofficial wives for rotational purpose. Yet he made Tajmahal for Mumtaj.
What kind of love is it ?

Taj nagma hain mohabbat ke dhadakte saaz ka
yeh hai woh aaina jisme aks hain mumtaz ka

mumtaz tujhe dekha jab taj mahal dekha
phir aa ki annkhon se gujra hua kal dekha.

Enough Fun !! now tell me prakash jee Who said that Shajahan made it for Mumtaz ?
'The usual explanation that the term Taj Mahal derives from Mumtaz Mahal is illogical in at least two respects. Firstly, her name was never Mumtaz Mahal but Mumtaz-ul-Zamani, 'Secondly, one cannot omit the first three letters from a woman's name to derive the remainder as the name for the building.'
Taj Mahal is, a corrupt version of Tejo-mahalaya, or the Shiva's Palace. Love story of Mumtaz and Shah Jahan is a fairy tale created by court sycophants, blundering historians and sloppy archaeologists. Not a single royal chronicle of Shah Jahan's time corroborates the love story.

A characterless person like Shahjahan who had an evil eye upon every woman including his own daughter can never be a love icon. In fact he married to ma ...more

Have you seen a honeycomb ? there is only one queen, and all others are Dasees. Similar was the condition in the palace. Only one was a queen, & all others were expendable daassis. Naturally with the force of all 365 at command to bug the ''tired'' Shahjahan, Mumtaz must have taken his word to build a separate Mahel for her. Unfortunately she died early and the mahel became a burial place. No one knows where other 365 got the burial. Can you find out , with your extraordinary strength to enter any year, these places sir ?

I too have travelled in time. Actually the TAj Mahal was a Shiv Mandir and Mumtaz used to love visiting this place and worship lord Shiva. She became a devotee of lord Shiva and found eternal love. Shahjahan was deeply annoyed that his most charming wife was more attached to a Hindu god so he got her murdered and buried into the Shiv Mandir or Tejomahal and converted it into Taj Mahal.

" Ek Shanshah ne banwa ke tajmahal gareebon ki muhabbat ka udaya hai majak"

Mumtaj was just incidental in this whole episode it could have been any other 364 queen as well.

Well Shahjahan wanted to be known in the world as person who could build tajmahal for his love.
The money was from coffers of state which his subject payed in taxes and royal treasury was nearly empty by the time taj was costructed, Architects and builders were the one who built and payed price of building by loosing their hands.

Just think of it while he built tajmahal at same time Harvard was founded in America as a small college
400 years later we can say Harvard is what made USA what it is today and India is what Tajmahal made it today.

This love was a sublime love which made him create Taj after the death of Mumtaz ! Had she not died, Taj would not have existed. The rest more than 365 were rotating around Shahjahan while he was busy building Taj with Time Traveller as his life recorder ! not biographer !
