Dear Anushkaji, Atleast we Zoarastrians we cannot put this request as in our religion we have to offer our dead bodies after prayers to "Vultures" and then when the bones remain it is washed out in sea and burnt by acid. We take the body after prayers to "Tower of Silence" at Kemps Corner and after all ceremonies done, a dog is brght to have a final say that the life is no more in the body. If he barks then there is "jaan" in the body but normally it doesnt happen. But some Parsis nowadays believe that it is better to offer to these bodies be burnt in oven and thats all. It all depends on each religion's following the last rites of the soul. Tke care regards Cyrus
