Using a simple font will ensure that our cover letter is easy to read. Basic fonts like Arial, Verdana, and Times New Roman work well. Depending on how much content we have in our letter select a 10 or 12 point font size. It's best if we can format our cover letter so it fits on one page.

I would use Arial of size 12.

Times New Roman, standard size 12..... (11 if it very lengthy letter and 13 or 14 is used for very small letter.)
