The preferred one to go for is Ford Fiesta. It is a great machine to handle. A bold sedan with a cool dude kind of looks is perfect blend of style and performance. The engines in fiesta are great units and sound sweet when the ignition is on. Ford Fiesta 1.4 SXi TDCi; the diesel is astonishingly smooth and linear gives a decent performance great fuel economy and gives greater mileage. En suited with 1399cc Duratorq SOHC engine, it pumps power of 68 PS @ 4000 rpm and torque of 160 Nm @ 2000 rpm. The car delivers a mileage of 13kmpl on city roads and 19kmpl on highways. It rides well at any speed over all sorts of surface.

As a proud owner of the new ford TCDi diesel, I would definitely recommend this car. Its got the performance of the Ford Ikon 1.6 Zxi but with the fiesta 1.4 engine that provides68 bhp and 16.3 kgm of torque. This basically means that its still fun to drive despite being a diesel car.

Now a days there are so many options in Diesel with common rail direct injection technolog. Suzuki Swift and Ford Ikon Dura are good options.
