Your silky skin is hiding -- you just need to coax it to the surface with exfoliants. (Exfoliating also helps to remove the extra-dry patches on your knees and elbows, crucial for good self-tanning results.) A basic scrubbing brush sloughs off dry skin without too much elbow grease and should be used on dry skin immediately before or even in the shower. Scrubbing washes also work quickly; some have the extra benefit of cleansing your skin, too. Or try a body mask, which extracts impurities from your skin. Masks require a bit more time (about 20 minutes) but are worth the extra effort.

De-fuzz: No doubt about it -- you must rid yourself of any errant hairs. Any whether you're a fan of razors, depilatories, or at-home waxing kits, the key word this summer is easy, even for sensitive-skin types, thanks to more effective yet gentler removal formulas.

Self-tan: Everyone benefits from a little boost of color, especially at the start of the summer. Get it with a self-tanner, which puts ...more

Minimize the amount of makeup and cosmetics you use. Apply a black clay mask to your skin once a week.

Drink plenty of water and have a balanced diet.
Make sure you use a face scrub at least twice a week. Use a night cream to soften your skin.
The best conditioner for your skin is egg yolk. Apply a thin layer to your face and let it dry before rinsing it off. You could add a little papaya juice and a few drops of honey to the egg yolk to smoothen your skin and reduce blemishes.

Your skin will be as soft as that of a baby if you cleanse it once a day with soap-free body was, water and a soft sponge, exfoliate (to remove the dead skin cells), pat it dry with a big fluffy towel, apply lotion, cream or body oil and wear sunblock if you are going out. Applying lotion or body oil before going to bed would smoothen it. Drink a lot of water, take a multi-vitamin tablet, use gentle pH-balanced soap-free body wash, add brown sugar to the lotion, rub a handful of sand on your skin and bathe in milk and honey and follow it up with a warm shower.

Cleanse your skin once a day with soap free body wash, water, and a soft sponge. Exfoliate once week or once a fortnight if you have sensitive skin. It will remove dead skin cells, dirt and oil and will leave your skin baby soft! You can do this with an exfoliating puff, exfoliating shower gloves or with an exfoliating scrub. (store bought or hand made). Pat dry with a big fluffy towel. Don't rub or scrub - this damages your skin and also creates wrinkles later on in life. Apply lotion, cream or body oil before you leave the steam-filled bathroom. This is the best time to moisturize your skin because your pores are still open and your skin is still moist.. Wear sunblock if you're going to step outside of your house. One of the reasons babies have such soft skin is that they haven't been exposed to the harmful effects of UV rays. For particularly rough dry areas such as feet & elbows slather on some lotion or body oil before you go to bed, when you wake up they will feel a whole lot be ...more
