Definately worth buying. I partially agree with Mr saboo. with such huge iron ore reserves, the price of Rs. 50,000/- is very conservative.
the company also has manganese ore reserves of 44 mt. Bare in mind the price of manganese in international market is about three times Limited through eastern Investments. The annual iron ore requirement of RINL (rashtriya ispat nigam limited) is about 5.2 mt. An additional turnover of 5.5 mt if added to the existing turnover of iron ore business of OMDC should bring in a whooping ADDITIONAL EPS of Rs. 16333/- per share of the face value of Rs. 10/-. These are the figures pertaining to ironn ore business only. Manganese ores businessnot taken in consideration for calculaing the above figures. In my personal opinion , if the euqivalent market cap of NMDC is given to OMDC then, as per current financials the fair value of OMDC should be some where to the tune of Rs. 150,000/-
