Yes.. i too hav a deep affection towards someone whom i never net before....
its somethg different from , having affection towards the person we met..!!
u start admiring them first and start imagining , relishing , etc....!!

Yes i did once when I was exchangibng correspondence and speaking on phone to a girl I was looking for marriage.But all the attraction vanished when we personally met.
