Try Garamond , it is both elegant and classy. I have seen a lot of CVs written in it.

Times Roman Or any other font with serifs. Example of fonts sans serif is Ariel. The serifs accelerate reading as they lead to next character as you read. This is one reason why news papers use Times Roman or other serif fonts.

As long as it readable its fine...but don\'t go with any stylish fonts..generally with times new roman, arial, impact...if your using MSword.

You could try using Verdana, Times New Roman or Bookman Old Style or something which suits you the most... Cheers!
