As far as I know, United Kingdom produces highest number of Doctors and then India comes on 2nd position. Just producin more doctors does'nt reflect the health status of the Country, India is perfect example for this. While Health System is good in States like Maharashtra, Gujrat and South India, its Very Bad in States like UP, MP, Bihar, Rajasthan and NorthEastern States. Health System is Bad in Rural Area equally in all states. One of the Main Reason for this is Highly Unequal Distribution of Doctors, Doctors r mainly located in Urban and SubUrban areas. Government has the most Important Role to Play.Answered by Rajesh Manwatkar, 26 Oct '08 10:29 pm
India produces the largest number of doctors but it does not reflect the health of the countryAnswered by rajnikant raiyarela, 26 Oct '08 08:21 pm
If the total number is concerned, I think India will be highest. But since the number of patients is also highest, and the proportion i.e. no. of doctors per head is low, the health of the people will also not be good.Answered by Biswaroop Ghosh, 26 Oct '08 08:19 pm
