This is an extension of Mr. Damodar Biswal's answer.

Scheduled Caste was a Social problem and not economical problem. The discrimination and backwardnesss raised towards inequal opportunity was the main reason to enforce reservations.. but that reservation was mainly to erode the inequality or untouchability or discrimination.. when such reservation is not able to erase the social problem which is still existing.. then it is mere the tool towards grabbing resources amongst those powerful in the Neglegent Community.

I fairly say.. that the distribution of resources should be reviewed accordingly.

Reservation is NOTHING but an effort to undo PAST EVIL by a PRESENT EVIL.
It is basically a FOOLISH act to set things right in a society ! Have u heard the old story of Jackal and lamb? The jackal says if u havent muddled the pond ur ancestors might have... and i am going to punish u for that !
Reservation and minority rights are 2 BLACK STAINS in our constitution ! It has created vote banks destroying our democracy. It has created an elite class within each schedule caste who wont mix with their lesser bothers, and this elite class eats up all benefits meant for the caste !

(In a Lighter Vein)Just play some nepotism in their favour, yaar, after all, they are your friends. Govt is giving susidy on LPG and this subsidy is, really, meant for PUL and LIG People, but is availed by all and sundry. So, these are all posible in our beloved country, "incredible India".

Certainly not . The benefits have been distorted and they are enjoyed by affluent classes amongst the SC and ST castes . Time and again this has been discussed but the govt only plays vote bank politics .
