It has neither the tummy reducing quality nor the weight increasing property. The food value of tea is from the milk and sugar it is mixed with. The beneficial effect of tea is due to the antioxidant property (through good quantity of polyphenols) helping to reduce cell damage and thus delaying aging like processes.
