One car try for the Suzukis new SX 4 2WD Sedan. It one among the best featured for sedans for satisfactory daily transport and excellent all- round performance. With styling cues from Suzukis Swift, the hatch and even more so the sedan carries a European look and feel when cruising on the road. There are, two gearboxes are available. Drivers can opt for a five-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic gearbox. The manual unit is easy to operate. Although the 4-speed auto is smooth and capable, it often doesnt kick down enough when you sink the boot in. It requires a full mash of the pedal to drop down enough to give sprightly acceleration from a rolling start. Considering the performance SX4 would be the 1st choice.

The honda has a smoother engine, but the car does not feel sturdy and stable. Its light steerings and performance on bad roads is something to fret about. Besides a pathetic ground clearence means you will have to listen to the undercarriage being scraped by the bigger bumps. And believe me it hurts when you hear it.
The SX 4 may not be the most refined of the two, but it feels big and strong. It has a terrific pick up though loses some grunt in the mid range revs. But with a large boot, saftey features, huge ground clearence and chunky tyres which grip the road superbly, it is a preferred car. Except the intruding A pillar and quarter glass, which takes some time to get used to.

Honda city 2008- isn't proven but as reliable as any other honda or the honda city for that matter.but airbags and ABS with EBD on all versions the car is safer. to be frank, i would say it is the least value for money for not even offering fog lamps,CD player and alloy wheels in that price when compared to other C-Segment counterparts. but no other C-Segment sedan can offer the most spacious, most powerful and highest mileage in class car with honda badge.

i am saying that city 2008 is not value for money because-
1. no alloys in a 8.5-10.02 lac price range upper c-segment car
2. no fog lamps and
3.not automatic climate control.
all of these which are offered on SX4 with a comparatively very less price.
i am not saying or forcing you to buy SX4 or city or anyother car

and it doesn't mean that i am not a c-segment buyer.i opted for honda city 2008 automatic myself because i needed an automatic transmission car. ...more
