Q.

Is reservation the cause of naxalism? Mayavati for dalit, Laloo-Mulayam for OBC, Bjp-rss for hindu rashtra and congress has no ideology behaves according to voters mood. Who is for poverty the bigger issue? Can caste and community oriented reservation eradicate poverty? answer is NO, because community doesn't represent poverty. There are many rich within a poor caste and what about poor inside rich caste. Such reservation may benefit people like mayavati and mulayam but not the poors of that community. And attitude of politician is the root cause of anger among poor and due to lack of leader

I cannot deny your logic.. Naxalism started with Ideology but according to my view.. it is that Neglected Community of Tribal Population that even the Britishers Ignored and treated them as Criminal. Being the Leased Colonised Governance.. these Communities are still not brought into the main stream Society.

Their Inheritant Rights on Forest Property are denied by the Government.. Their Local Knowledge is grabbed in the wake of Patents. These Tribal Communities are besically a Parallel Militiary which is being used against the Government and Challenging its Authority.

Poverty can be eroded by the Structural Governance and not the present system.. In the Structural Governance these Tribal Communities will also get the Equal benefit of the Resourses available.
This will curtail Reservation system and NONE Resourses will be distriburted as per the Identity.. But there will be an equal distribution of The Resourses of Land.

The discrimination in the Present System is due to ABI ...more

BJP-RSS ideology of Hindu Rashtra is the root cause of all the problems, because their's is the policy of pseudo-Hindu Rashtra. They go to the Muslims for their votes as they are more than 20% and have in their cadres a Shanawaz and a Naqvi as show pieces. They call dalits and tribals Hindus only when it comes to the question of other religion people converting them. But for all practical purposes they have neglected these 'Hindus' for the last 63 years and only call them tribals and don't hesitate to usurp their land and r*a*pe their women and suppress them with the help of police. Maoists got a chance here to corner these suppressed masses for them selves and thus started Naxalism. BJP_RSS are armchair ideologues, pretending to help the cause of Hinduism without defining who are the Hindus! A confused lot! Congress is a Secular party who does not hesitate to play the caste / communal card whenever required. Mayawati, Lalu, Mulayam are just self serving time servers and have no inter ...more

Naxalism is a natural response to the fact that we didn't abandon our colonial administration after getting independence. That spills out into a lot of things. The first thing colonial mindset does is take poor people 4 granted. They are just expected to cast aside and make way for "development" at the dictate of some dude in a posh office who hasn't even visited their areas. The second aspect is the mindset of the government. From the police to the bureaucracy. The police in India have a colonial mindset very much. They don't even know how 2 give respect 2 people!! Unless u pull out a fancy phone number, your average cop treats u as if u are a Pakistani Army Prisoner of War. When u complain 2 the Army they say "have faith in the democracy, this is none of our business." And the SAME attitude goes 4 bureaucrats. Even to get a simple 5000 Rupees worth of commodities cleared, unless u r well established, u will have 2 bribe someone or another or again- pull out a fancy phone number.

The cause for naxalsim was originally feudalism. it was against the landlords/zamindars that this movement was started.2nd part of your qn. as questioner dont u know that there are muslim political organisations protecting the interests of the muslims? why have u not mentioned it/them? the main purpose of these organisation is to stay in power. and create their own vote banks. continuance of reservation policy is also an appeasement policy. public bribing is the order of the day. everyone shouting for his pound of flesh.
