Q.

It seems Manmohon Singh will stick to his conviction and go for the deal. Immediately BJP who are now riding on a crest have started election noises. Considering the fact that they are the only alternative for running the country other than Congress, is it not a pathetic signal? I am surprised that Vajpayee's wisdom and statesmanship has not percolated down the line. Pramod Mahajan is dead. Should hey not consider another bright & talented young man like Jaitly, instead of the old generation to pick up the reins?

If BJP is a nationalist party as they claim, then they ought to know that the Nuke Deal with USA is a very good thing for India and the world (as agreed by the Russians also).
So, why should BJP not stand alongside the Congress and get this bill passed! Is it a God-made law that opposition party should not vote for a bill alongwith the ruling party?? That too if the bill is in the best of interest of the country, and some foolish allied MPs are hell bent upon defeating it??
But in India The opposition is not thinking about the country. They are thinking only about the opportunity the whole matter may give them to come back in power.
