I have traveled all over Kerala many times. Kerala's beauty lies in its unspoiled beauty. Simply sitting at the window enjoying monsoon rains, boating in the back waters, bathing at the sacred Periyar, Trekking at Valayar, traveling Kumili to kattappana in the bumps all are enchanting. Kerala women are excellent hostesses and hard workers.

My liking for Kerala is a mixed one. My appreciation for the cleanliness and decent dress and behaviour even in the poor, with an enthusiasm to study and read newspaper; the picturesque landscape, rivers, sea shore and the unique flora and fauna. I hate political politicking, too much concern for rights ignoring duties, the drinking and loitering habit and above all the newly found terrorist mind set of the youth and the destructive trade unionism of the politician controlled work force. I wish Kerala politicians switch over to development politics to make Kerala "Gods' own country" in realty.
