In ancient times goverance of the country is being done under direction and guidance of spritual gurus and that is why they were very successful and benevolent for people, do you agree or not and any comments please?

Yes, I agree. Then the mazority people were united and now got divided into many fractions based on caste, region, language etc. But, many of the present politicians and their parties also following some thing similar to that. Only difference is they went global. In house spiritual gurus does not get respect and importance in this matter from our rulers. Global jihadi groups, missionaries and external anti Indian forces are funding many politicians and their parties to practice divide and rule policy. Many of the TV channels and media groups also became their partners.

I do not agree. Religion should not be and must not be mixed with administration and politics. Only on two occasions, we were world powers - first during Asoke the great and again after 1800 years during Akbar, the great. During that time there were two other super powers - China and Turkey. Though during their hey days, Turkey forced the Caliphate to move over to Turkey - it was for the sake of show of power. Like New York is the center of the world now, Istanbul was also the center of the world of that era. Neither Asole nor the great Sultans of Turkey allowed religion to mix with their administration and politics. During its entire history, China never allowed religion to mix with politics & administration and probably that is why it was always a super power almost throughout its history, barring couple of brief periods in between.
