From Ernakulam, get the ferry across to Fort Cochin and see the Chinese Fishing Nets where you can buy fish and have it cooked at one of the many stalls there, visit the Synagogue at Mattancherry, St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Bascillica. In the city take a walk along Marine Drive or go shopping in Broadway where you can buy wonderful spices.
