Iran threatens to close Strait of Hormuz, the entry point to the Gulf, if sanctions are imposed on their country that can block Iranian oil exports. But U.S warns Iran that it would provoke them to take a possible Military action, if the strait is closed..... News.
Suppose if a war (Gulf or World War) breaks out, what are the consequences going to be happened / affected in the World, particularly in India?..... Your views pls !

It will be severe no doubt especially economic affects as it may tend to increase inflation generally as oil and petroleum products is the main ingredient of inflation

Iran wont have the guts to do it.other oil producing nations will go against Iran.
