Ramar pillai cudnt prove his claims infront of invited scietists.
But there is another news in today's news paper. Honda has comeout with a passenger car model which switches betwen petrol and electricity thus being very fuel efficient. And the govt has blessed the car company and our people by putting this car into the 104% import duty category which makes it difficult for even thouse who use the luxury cars.
Govts do not help anyone. They help only if it will help them first.

The answer is easy the world is not ready for cheap alternate fuel sources. Politicians are paid unimaginable amounts of money by oil producing governments to keep people depended on fossil fuels. We will never be able to get out of the trap unless inventors of such technology release this on the net for everyone to make his own fuel.
