Poompuhar is a town in Tanjore/Thanjavur district of Tamilnadu, a province of India situated at the estuary of river Cauvery. Kairali is a popular Malayali TV channel.
Another connection between them is that they might the government handicraft emporiums of their respective states... i.e Cauvery for Karnataka, Kairali for Kerala and Poompuhar for Tamil Nadu.
