If a book appeals to me,from its intro on the back panel...I simply go for it...else I have some favourites and some usual works,i just cant do without...anything which either soothes my nerves or makes me sit and think deep, real deep...appeals to me. I read a lot about the cuisines of various exotic and remote lands...reveals a lot about people and their traditions.I have read a lot about the traveller's on various quests and hunts or simple adventure seeking fakirs...cause I can easily relate to such individuals.
I read a lot on nature, its diverse, intriguing aspects and its magical hold on us the mortals...there is no stopping me,when it comes to the nature oriented books...and frankly my collection does reveal this passion of mine.
I am an obsessive collector,a passionate reader and treat my books like babies.
I rarely share them,of course ppl can sit in my study and read them, but you will never find me lending them,or gifting books in general. to me,its the ultimate gift for me ...more
