Such comepetions remain relevant to manufacturers of cosmetics. First they used to favour Indian girls for the crown because this way they were able to make the average Indian girl dream of becoming beautiful and thus increase the sale of cosmetics. Having done their marketing in India they have turned their attention to other target markets

We all are tired of REALITY SHOWS, in all unscrupulous TV Channels, Femina Contest, Miss. India Contest, Miss World Contest, Miss Universe Contest etc. etc. and our eyes got fatigued.
