I know a place here where they use toilet waste water to grow vegetables. Are these vegetables safe for consumption.

yes why not. After STP. we use water for gardening, vegetation etc, so no fear in taking this .

toilet waste is prepared and made as compost in large scale to be used as fertilizer... like wise urine also is very good for crops..earth converts the stools as valuable fertilizer. ..

In Mumbai, Churchgate to Virar and CST to Karjat/Kasara, people grow vegetables on both sides of the railway track with this water. They sell these vegetables to Mumbaikars.
