Q.

Is the share of the economic pie is the only demand of the Maoists government should be able to fulfill it by giving more attention to develop the affected areas. But if they have hidden agenda to carve out a separate Maoistan with the help of our hostile neighbors then a political solution to this problem is impossible. Give your views on this.

We are a democracy. We have elected representatives who make rules and regulations in Parliament for the economic and overall development of the country and people. We have accepted it as the best way of our lives. It is the most civilized, fair, transparent and proven method of collective governance which treats every individual citizen as a stake holder in the nation building. There is no question of the ruler and the ruled here. Despite our many differences since 1947, India has held together because of this glue called Democracy. There is no room for violence in our society or any society in the world including China, which ruthlessly crushes all sorts of internal dissent and violence as we have seen it happen in Tibet, Tiananmen Square and Uyghur. In this respect, India is far better. We have allowed several dissenting voices to air their grievances in public and some have resorted to violence. Maoists never wanted a "Maoistan" ever and they never made such a claim. The Maoists derive inspiration from Bhagat Singh and the Indian National ARmy more so than Mao Tse Tsung.

They r simply called as Maoists by intellectuals and media because they subscribe to the idea that a revolution spreads from village and then spreads to the cities and urban centres as opposed to classical Marxism who stated the vice versa.

It is clear that the "Economic pie" will NEVER be given out to agrarian folk considering the Milton Friedman styled monetary accelerator economic model we use. So if we undo the economic system, we would've fulfilled the wishes of the "Maoists" :)

However u may hate the Maoists, u cannot accuse them of trying to splinter up the nation sir.

Here's some Naxalite propaganda on youtube....

What all we know is Maoists are fighting for some rights , they have an agenda for those who were opressed, supressed and deprived of basic needs, social justice and equality by the ruiling Govt. and its machinery. The hidden agenda is not available to public at large to analyse or debate. If at all they have a cause and have some solution to it then they can use powerful media to propogate and counter the Govt. Violence can never be justified at any cost. They should come out with their ideas and do a mass movement. If they adopt the ways and means they are at present then Govt. can tag them as terrorists and anti-social and anti-country , it is very easy for Govt. to pull the bull by its horn or Give the dog a bad name and hang him.
