Dear Kamal

The ground rule of investing is not to put all your eggs in one basket. I don't know whether you've invested all your money in other places and are left with this surplus fund or this is all you have.

But make sure you invest the money in Bank deposits, Stocks / Mutual Funds, Property, etc. in the proportion in which you want your risks and returns. Always more risk = more return.

I have read the other answers which you have got for this question and I am wondering why have you decided to ask such a professional question on a platform where you are going to get pedestrian advice.

My advice to you is to buy a Commercial Office in Mumbai and rent it out. You will have the dual advantage of a good rent income on a monthly basis and the second advantage will be that of appreciation of your property over a period of time.
