It all depends on the genes and the weight of the baby.babies who weigh around 3kgs. during their 9 -10 months of age start walking slowly or take tiny steps.chubby babies take 1 year and plus to start taking those tiny steps
ask you son to make a video of your pothri taking those first steps of success. and then post you online to enjoy the lovely experience. you also planned to go to US and then you can enjoy the lovely adventure of the tiny one

Some as early as 8 mnth ...try to hold the wall n stand up.....mostly before 12 mnths and max 12 mnthz...unless the baby is overweight...then might take longer in normally developing child

Some start walking in 10 months some lill early and some at the age of one year or so
