Maoists say that their target is to make India a Maoist country in thirty to forty years time.
How many here would love it ? India becoming a Communist country (especially the Maoist type)???

I hate the term maoist and also the destructive work they do ..i wont like india being a communist country (especially the Maoist type )..

Only those who want India to become a province of China, would love to India becoming a communist country & I certainly would not like to see that happening!

No one ....i think it was a trend during 70s when Naxalism and these revolutions were a charm not now....trust me after 30 or 40 years even China will become a democratic country ...communism is out of place now a days

I wouldn't mind a Communist India at all as a matter of fact. I am not a big fan of "Maoist" economics- I am a TItoist....however, Maoist economics is more compatible w/ Indian demographics than what we r using today, and Maoist sociology is FAR superior to a multi caste / multi region / multi religion based sociology which we have in India today.

If Maoists take INdia over at least I can walk up to someone w/a uniform tell him I spent my college life in hospitals defending Ramu and Cristiana or Ishfaq and Rani from communalist theocratic right wing bigots and I would get a "u r appreciated" card at least. Now, I feel like an idiot at times, because some of the ppl I fought for risking bodily harm extremely now say they made a mistake by associating themselves w/ me!

However, one thing the "Maoist type" system does is unify the country under one SECULAR flag. And Maoism stresses demographic relocation of a country, to a point where no single ethnicity or regionality represents ...more
