Suicide is a sin... God has given us this body for a purpose and how can we think of running away from the battlefield? we have to reap for what we sow today or tomorrow. it is similar to arjuna's dejection from the battlefield... running away from one's duties could be compared to suicide... that is why krishna has given us the essence of duty and what is expected of us in bhagavat geetha... suicide is certainly a sin...

Suicide is ultimately a persons choice. U have no right to dictate to another that he/she has to live against his/her wish. But a good number of suicides happen due to social evils, inadequacies etc. Some also happen due diseases like depression, anxiety. Society can see how such suicides can be minimised. We shud also take note that suicides are justifiable in certain life circimstances like terminal and extremely painful diseases, serious damage to vital organs etc. Even mercy killing cud be considered there !

Tolerance and forebearance are the highest order of human being. The failing of them leads to suicide which is definitely sin.

No one has basically any rights to destroy life except the one who gave. Its a clumsy experiment men of ignorance undertake.destructing of the very own consciousness .Suffering is part of God's divine will, plan, or design mercy killing is difft akin to suicide only but caused by other. So whatsoever Supreme is the only one who can transfer yr soul to some other body.
