Q.
I subscribed to a magazine and sent the cheque in September 2009.They acknowledged it and encashed the cheque.They informed me that the first issue will reach me in November end.However it did not reach me and now they are also not replying to my mails.What is the course open to me now?

I think you can approach the consumer forum for this along with the payment receipt & demand a neccessary action against them!!

You can approach consumer protection council with relevant papers

May I advice you one thing Friend ? First of all, you please try to obtain a certificate of the concerned bank by whom the instruement has been encashed. It will help you if it is for a long run matter.

Send them a notice for cheating-encashment of cheque is itself a recipt-obtain your bank statement for refrence
