Then we need to have national conscription where everyone above 18 serves in military for 2-3 years as foot soldiers. And then we need to have a "defense drill" where in 1 year u have Madya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh cadets act as "aggressors" and have say Tamil Nadu and Kerala cadets as "Defenders" and have a rotation system like this. This is the way to be best prepared.

Not the politicians, not the Gandhians but this time it is the FIGHTING COMMUNITY mainly ppl from Punjab Regiment / Jhatt Regiments and from communities which have high participation rate in Army. They opposed national conscription stating that the communities which depended on Army for livelihood will have nowhere else to go....

So even in our defense community, communal interests always has come first over national....hard to defend against a determined enemy like China if we have such a mindset.
