You should read the news very very carefully. The government or any sports organisation in India has NOT spent a single paise on Mr Bindra. whatever was spent on his training was his and his parents money. i once again repeat it is not governments money.
re second part of your question This person is the only one who has won a GOL:D medal for India in individual category in 108 years of olympics history. He deserves all the praise and all financial rewards. This greta guy has done India proud in International sports area, give meone good reasonwhy he should NOT be rewarded. dont u have any national pride. I bet u cant even get a bronze medal in even asian games, what to say or olympics and that shows your jealousy against this man, Mr Bindra. Please learn to appreciate rather than to criticise

During his trip to China this March Bindra spent a long time to trace down one of the manufacturers who supplies pellets to the Chinese shooters. Since the 10m air-rifle pellet is not a controlled commodity, Bindra procured enough from the supplier to last till the Olympics. The attention to this detail proved to be one of the key components in the gold jigsaws completion. Chinese Qinan Zhu was beaten by China-made metal.

Apart from the equipment, Bindra also found some novel ways of training his nerves for the big event. He no longer be ...more
