Nothing is wrong with Sachin Tendulkar's batting. Everything is wrong with his age. The normal age of retirement for any cricketer is around 37 ot 38. Now that he is 39, it is high time, he retires honourably, giving way to youngsters like Unmukt Chand. If you allow Gavaskar or Srikkanth, they are capable of opening the Indian innings even today. But you cannot get the best out of them nor can they produce as many runs as a youngster can.

Nothing. He is old to retire. One cannot hope to be in his Seventeens when one is nearing forty.
