A sniper or AM is a trained professional soldier with d ability of staying hidden..mobility.. shooting accurately at long distances..sniper units of armies typically take out officer ranks of enemies and other specified targets..police departments have sniper units under special tactic forces to counter urban terrorism..usually a sniper in d field has a spotter too..

In the military, marksmen are sometimes attached to an infantry fire team or squad where they take accurate long-range shots at valuable targets as needed, thus extending the reach of the fire team or squad
