The stone called Shahabad Farshi which is mined from stone quarries at Shahbad in Karnatak is both economixcal and long lasting(for generations) It can be washed clean and with use it tends to asume a pleasant glare. Before this cement tiles came in this was the flooring commonly used.. It comes in various rough, medium and superfine qualities.
