Normal Heart rate is a varaiable parameter and very with AGE, level of stress both, mental and physical, sleep and other factors.
AVERAGE ADULT HEART RATE IS 72 beats Per minutes.
But the normal range is 60- 100 per minute
For New born it is 120-140 per minute
AS AGE ADVANCES, THE AVERAGE HEART RATE DECLINES
and the physical workers and atheletes have lower heart rate (Bradycardia) then normal
Of course diseases changes the rate, BUT we have to discuss normal heart rate
