Q.

Whatever the turmoil Pakistan faced in political scenario e.g. removal of Pak PM and case against Pak President is to create a space for Musharraf to rule Pakistan.. After the withdrawal of American Army from the Afghanistan, it is important for Pak Army to control Pakistan in co-ordination with China so that they can protect Opium from Taliban..

Hence Political system is not for the people but towards British IR to facilitate Politics of Drugs.

Too far fetched a surmise! Saudi Arabia tried to desist Musharraf from going to Pakistan. Now Pak Army wants fool proof security for Musharraf (Todays news). British are the deputies of USA. They don't any decision which USA will disapprove. And USA doesn't want an ex army man to take up reigns of power in Pakistan. It goes against their scheme of things in this region which includes Afghanistan, China, India. A civilian democratic set up will be more conducive to USA's scheme of things, whereas a retired general with ISI on his side would be more adventurous or misadventurous to USA's liking. That's one reason USA tried to dissuade Musharraf (through their crony Saudi Arabia) from going back to Pakistan.

I am not sure about all this drug cartel and their grip on political control of the region.
But unless there is a blessing of West and their big brothers from ME, Mushraf would hv not dared to enter Pakistan.
I hv no access to any kind of inside Info., but my logical sequencing says; more than drug cartel & all, west is more worried about political stability in the region and dominance of China. West would be more interested in counter force & moderator for / with China and, control on crude price especially when global economy is going down. Do U think, he is really bothered about safety of the Palestinians or antagonise Jews lobby by advocating the cause of Palestine? He just need US to hv control on crude price otherwise it hurts economy of US. Looks like, Srilanka and Bangkadesh too in their radar. They would find some moderate leaders there too.
Probably hvng. Mushraf in the region would help their strategy. They also would have been very happy if they could hv found Vajpay ...more
