I wish it should go to a social worker who honestly lives upto the cause of social uptliftment because her work benefits entire society irrespective of cast, creed, religion and gender. All other are purely for personal achievement.

A working women gets her salary and perks. A house wife, her security and tyranny over her family. A social worker gets her popularity through getting her photo published periodically in newspaper. A senior citizen - the very fact that she exists with her dignity intact. Ah! now comes a labourer. Let her get the dignity of her labour and full coolie and a safety from her husband. Sometime in 1981, in Calcutta, I read an article M.J. Akhbar about the visit of Mr. Rajiv Gandhi to some tribal area of Orissa where bonded labour was extant. That Akhbar had vanished and the new Akbhar is producing something which I am unable to comprehend. It was in Chronicles. Followed closely by a beautiful translation of Kazi Nazrul Islam's poetry "Poverty" by Mr. Pritish Nandi in weekly magazine. Well...extremely sorry..if I continue, it will become more irrelevant, incomprehensible, immaterial and even incompetent material.

A social worker , can also be a house wife, obviously she is on the job along with that, she as a social worker can also be a senior citizen who does not mind work any time anywhere and of any sort. Give it away to this Social worker.
