Though corrupt as expected, Chennai Police is really civilized and friendly.
Kolkata Police have no power at all to become friend or foe.
Mumbai Police is very friendly if one bribe on spot.
Delhi Police are over friendly if you thunder about your political relation.

Some of them need to be taught laws and etiquette. The rest will have to be trained to control miscreants. For the present generally the cops are themselves confused: not enough salaries, not enough of extra income, very bad roads, no armoury to even defend themselves except a feeble laathi.

Well, in Kerala state if they know you got the dollah or can rally crowds of ppl quick, have CITU they r quite cordial :) Otherwise I wouldn't want to be a Civilian working class Ramu or especially Civilian working class Reema walking home past a patrol jeep after seeing a night show.
