Et tu brute were the words spoken by the ruler of Rome, Julius Caesar in a play written be William Shakespeare called "julius caesar.
brutus was a trusted friend of caesar. but he was the top conspirator for his murder.
ceasar couldnt believe the involvement of caeser in his murder and said et tu brute which litterally means 'you too, brutus'

Julius caesar to brutus wheh he was assasinated and the last stabing was done by his friend brutus and he said ,u too brutus ? then he said i killed julius not because i loved him less but because i love d rome more

Julius Ceaser said this to his best buddy brutus when he came to know that brutus too was involved in his muder planning so he uttered these words at that time which meant "you to brutus"
