Shahjan, who built Taj Mahal for his beloved... Mumtaz had 7 wives apart from Mumtaz ......... and Mumtaz was his 4th wife ........ this is as per record , fact his god knows.. was this much big investment from public money was essential? if he was real lover he must have one wife.. your comments and thoughts please.

The fact is different , Sahajahan never built tis Tajmahal in memory of MUMTAZ ...... The most evident of such structures is Taj Mahal--a structure supposedly devoted to carnal love by the "great" moghul king Shah Jahan to his favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal. Please keep in my mind that this is the same Shah Jahan who had a harem of 5,000 women and the same Shah Jahan who had a incestuous relationship with his daughter justifing it by saying, 'a gardner has every right to taste the fruit he has planted'! Is such a person even capable of imagning such a wondrous structure as the Taj Mahal let alone be the architect of it? ......... The most valuable evidence of all that Tejo Mahalaya is not an Islamic building is in the Badshahnama which contains the history of the first twenty years of Shah Jahan's reign. It was normal for a king to have many wives at that time. He sure spent public money but made a TAJ which is our national pride now.

Some says, Taj Mahal did exist even In Akbar's time, who knows whats the truth but if it was in Akbar's time than shahjaha can not built it as it existed even before the Birth of shahjaha's father jahangir , any ways, during those days Kings used to spent Public money in all these Nonsense
