The present chairman of Central Board of Direct Taxes is Mr.B.M.Singh. The responsibilities of a chairman include co-ordination and supervision of the overall boards working, all the matter in regards with foreign training, issue regarding the Central and Regional Direct Taxes Advisory Committees and Consultative Committee of the Parliament.
