Dear first of all i would like to congratulate to all of you about sachin 's 200 in one day cricket . i feel proud that i have watched almost every inning of mr. sachin since very first day in oct 1989 when he made 25 runs in an over against pak in his debut match .we would all eager to watch more & more tons from him .
now i come to the point suppose after playing cricket upto 17or 18 he decided to put off batting pad and move towards other field such as chess/badminton etc, would he still popular as now ?
but now a days most of the engineers are doing this thing & prove to be underperfo
Now that i have thrashed your point, let me make my point. Engineers who are doing "this kind of thing", are doing it because they are not getting sucess in their fields. So the analogy you have used in not relevant in this case. Look at Salil Ankola. he didnt face any sucess in cricket, but was reasonable sucessfull as an actor. Another example is Viren Rasquinha (Arjuna awardee) who retired from hocket to pursue his MBA.
One person called Mohandas Gandhi quit his job as a lawyer . Justice Srikrishna was an active (and most sucesfull) lawyer before he joined the bench. So why to object if people chose their careers, as and when they want. ?
it really works out. be ur own boss n also u can earn while u learn.
