Hi , We can preserve only which is possible and within our limits. Evolution takes place in every aspects. All culture , traditions, icluding styles and trends come with an expiry date . What our forefathers did is not possible for us to accept and follow. The same way what we accept and follow wont be liked and followed by our future generations. Man is a materialiastic person. His efforts will be always for his own comfort , achievement as per his convenience which can give him pleasure in the most easiest way. Preservation of anything will depend on his interest and acceptance. He doesnt like to get ruled or dictated. He would prefer to talk about only those things which can help him to move with the Modern times or else he fears ,he would be considered as out dated or less civilized ....!!!

I do not agree. Everybody, within their family , is more concerned to
maintain our tradition. All are woried to maintain our culture and tradition
and the same is being preserved within their respective family.

Traditions and culture change from time to time.
Previously the Hindus used to pray only the forces of nature, it was only after the rig ved period that idol worship began. The same is true even with Christians and Muslims but their glorious history has been destroyed. Before Christianity or Islam they must be following some religion or faith, but once the followers of Christ and Mohammad came into power they ensured that all those practicing other faith are erased, this can be testified by the current affairs of conversions and terrorism. Even in Japan Buddhism was accepted after missionaries(monks) went there. Their too the Bhuddists are found eating beef which came into practice after the World war when the generals told the Emperor that the US soliders are too strong for the Japanese soldiers and the reason behind their strength is that they eat beef and pork. So the Emperor ordered that all Japanese soldiers shall eat beef. In India women fall victim to fashion since ancient time ...more

Aping the West has become the order of the day without application of mind and soul by the youth in our country. It's really a very bad precedent we are setting, when the foreigners the world over appreciate, regard and follow out tradition and culture, fully knowing the core values imbibed therein.
